  • Stock: In Stock
  • Model: heavy-duty-anti-skid-steel-road-plates

Our heavy-duty anti-skid steel road plates provide a reliable temporary surface for vehicles and pedestrians when access across excavations is required. Designed for demanding environments such as roadworks, construction sites, utilities projects, and events, these plates allow traffic to safely pass over trenches, manholes, and other temporary openings while maintaining site access and traffic flow.

Unlike many conventional road plates, our stock features four traditional corner lifting holes plus a central lifting point socket. This central lifting point allows plates to be handled more safely and efficiently using mechanical lifting equipment, significantly reducing manual handling and improving on-site safety.

Each road plate is manufactured from S275 structural grade mild steel and finished with a high-friction anti-skid surface using the Rocbinda surfacing system. This tough coating uses HAPAS and BBA approved materials, helping to provide improved traction and durability in busy environments.

Available for hire or purchase, our road plates are supplied nationwide using our fleet of specialist vehicles, many fitted with Hiab truck-mounted cranes or Moffett truck-mounted forklifts, ensuring safe and efficient delivery to your site anywhere across the UK mainland.
